Organization

Newberry County Economic Development (NCED) is the official economic development organization for the county and operates as a department within the County of Newberry. NCED works with existing and prospective business and industry to facilitate investment and economic growth in the county. Our mission is to create quality jobs, increase the per capita income, and broaden the Newberry County tax base.

Directions:

From Interstate 26, take exit 76 (SC Highway 219). Go west on SC 219 towards the City of Newberry for approximately 4.7 miles (SC Highway 219 turns into Main Street after crossing US 76/Wilson Road.) In downtown Newberry, take a right on College Street. The courthouse is on the right, one block off of Main Street. Parking is available in front of the building.
